Muzyka On EA’s New BioWare/Mythic RPG Team-Up

BioWare has been a quickly-rising star within Electronic Arts’ stable of studios, recently opening up its third location, making headlines with upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic, and launching major single-player titles Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age in the fall.

Earlier this week, it was announced that BioWare co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk will head up EA’s new RPG/MMO Group. Along with BioWare, it includes EA’s other big MMO developer, Mythic Entertainment, which maintains Warhammer Online, Dark Age of Camelot, and Ultima Online.

Individual Ubisoft Titles will be Available to Purchase Digitally via Metaboli

Ubisoft has today announced that it will reinforce its partnership with Metaboli, the European leader in the digital distribution of PC games. Its titles will be available as download-to-own via www.gamesplanet.com in EMEA territories at the beginning of June, and via www.gametap.com in the U.S. Ubisoft was one of the first independent developers to build commercial relationships with Metaboli in 2001 through its subscription-based services www.metaboli.com. Ps3 Slim Leaked Pics

Not confirmed and not verifed but pictures of a possible “Playstation3 Slim” have surfaced and it looks too good to be true.

Along with that rumors of a PS3 Slim to be revealed a E3 this year was mentioned as well. If all was planned ahead and true, it will bid well for consumers to own a slimline looking blu-ray cum gaming console.

Based on the grainy looking photos, the slim model has a similar curved like design while looking much slimer (of course) and sports a 120GB hard disk while retaining its slot-loading disc drive. ..

Warner Bros. Offers to Buy Most of Midway

Midway today announced that they have received a more than $33 million offer from Warner Bros. to buy out most of their company.

“It’s in writing now, that there is interest,” said Geoffrey Mogilner, director of corporate communications for Midway, who added that the company has been in talks with other potential owners as well. Read more…
